Springfield Man Charged With Domestic Assault and Child Abuse After Incident At Branson West Motel:

Branson West, Mo.- A man from Springfield has been charged with domestic assault and child abuse following an incident at a Branson West motel last week.

Authorities were called to the Lakeview Inn Motel after witnesses reported that Kelly Kristian King, 46, slapped an 11 year-old “in the face in a hard open hand slap on the left side of his face inside the motel room.”  Another witness told Deputy Terry Crockett that they also saw King slap the boy outside the motel room.

The boy told Crockett that King also hit his mother.  Another child told the deputy that King grabbed the necks of the mother and another child and pushed them down on a bed.

King is being held in the Stone County jail on $25,000 bond.
