A teenager from Blue Eye was sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to sex charges involving a minor.
Ryan Zachary Farnell, 18, was charged with statutory sodomy in January after a four year-old little girl told investigators that Farnell had inappropriately touched her the previous summer.
Farnell admitted to Detective Bruce Belin that he touched the little girl while she was coloring at his house.
Farnell could be out of prison in 120 days, according to Stone County Prosecutor Matt Selby.
"Usually when someone is on a 120 day call back a judge retains jurisdiction in the case. In this case, the Department of Corrections Sex Offender Assessment Program decides whether you come out or stay not a judge," Selby said.
