Authorities in Crane are searching for the person who broke into Lakeland Pharmacy last week.
Police chief John Elmore says he and officer Robert Bennett responded to an alarm at the business about 11 p.m. Tuesday April 29th.
Elmore says the person used an ax to break through the front of the business and may have sustained some cutting injuries to their body from the glass. Elmore says some bloody clothing they believe the suspect was wearing has been recovered.
A small amount of non scheduled drugs were stolen, according to Elmore.
If you have any information that can help solve this crime you're asked to call 417-723-5500.
