Halloween isn't just for kids as some county employees proved last Wednesday.
About 400 kids came Galena to gather candy from business and county offices surrounding the square.
Julie Chambers helped coordinate a costume contest and a pumpkin patch where kids got to pick out their favorite pumpkin to take home.
About 20 county employees took part in the festivities by dressing up as everything from an elf to a gypsy fortune teller, according to County Commission administrative assistant Denise Dickens.
