A man from Crane was seriously injured when a bus slammed into his car last week in Springfield.
Witnesses told police that the driver of the bus, Alma Dinwiddie, 63, of Elkland allegedly ran a stop light at Chestnut Expressway and Cedar Brook about 9:38 a.m. on November 8th and crashed into a car being driven by Scott Gold, 39, according to a Springfield police department news release.
Sixteen of the forty eight children on the Marshfield school bus were treated at area hospital's for injuries. The kids were on their way to a field trip to the Discovery Center in Springfield.
Dinwiddie and Gold were transported to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
