| Authorities need help locating Billy Joe Harris |
Authorities in Springfield are asking for help from the public in locating a man who has been missing since January 15th.
According to a news release from police, Billy Joe Harris, 28, has not been seen by friends or relatives since Jan. 15. Harris' mother reported him missing Jan. 26th.
Harris, who doesn't have a known address in Springfield or own a vehicle, often stays with friends in Springfield and the Rogersville area, police say. Family members told police it is unusual for him to not have personal or phone contact with them for this long.

Harris is a white male about 5' 10" and 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown/hazel eyes. He has a tattoo of a star on his left shoulder and a tattoo of an of an A on his left arm. Friends say Harris usually wears a ball cap.
