A Jasper County man is facing federal charges for allegedly trafficking child pornography.
Authorities say they took a dozen computers, four thumb drives, 28 computer disks and two notebooks from fifty eight year-old Donald Zaerr's Jasper home that had at least ten thousand images of kids as young as 1 year-old being sexually molested.
According to court documents, Joplin cyber crimes Detective Chip Root found massive files of kiddie porn on the Internet and traced the IP address back to Zaerr's residence. The web address that those images were found at was issued to Zaerr's deceased father.
Investigators say that Zaerr admitted to possessing the kiddie porn and posting them on the Web so that other people could download the images.
