Ex-Wife Of Prominent Attorney Bound Over For Trial On Stealing Charges:

Branson, Mo.- The ex-wife of a prominent Branson attorney will stand trial for allegedly stealing money from her former husband’s clients.
Court documents say Elizabeth “Liza” DemetraTsahiridis Farris, 42, was the Chief Operating Officer and handled all financial transactions for the Farris Law Group in September 2010 when she misappropriated over $90,000.
“Elizabeth D. Farris took currency from the trust account and used the currency for personal use knowing the money belonged to victim B. S. and G. D. and did so without the consent of the victims.”
A special prosecutor has been appointed to handle the case as Eric Farris still practices law in Taney County.
Elizabeth Farris is scheduled to be arraigned in circuit court on October 23rd in Forsyth.
