The body of a woman who got separated from her diving partner on Table Rock Lake last weekend was recovered Sunday (06-22-14) after two days of searching.
Divers with the Missouri Water Patrol and Western Taney County Fire and Rescue searched for 30 year-old Sara B. Deines of Lincoln, Nebraska to depths of about 90 feet. Two local tactical divers called in to assist in the search recovered Deineses body at about 168 feet.
Deines was with a group of about 20 people who were diving near Point 7, which is close to the Kimberling City Bridge, when she got separated from her dive partner. It is believed that Deines, who had about 40 minutes of air in her tank when she made the dive, had too much weight on her weight belt which caused her to sink faster.
The Southern Stone County Fire Protection District also assisted in the search and recovery for Deines.
