The Stone County Sheriff's Office recently recognized four employees in different divisions of the office with employee of the year honors.

"We let all the officers that attended our Christmas party vote for the peers they felt deserved the award," said Sheriff Doug Rader.

Captain Chris Hayes was selected as employee of the year for the patrol division.

Employees selected Captain Isaac Cornelison the detention officer of the year. Top honors for the criminal investigations division went to Detective Bruce Belin and Ruby Perriman was named administrative civilian employee of the year.

"I'm proud of all of my employees in the department," said Rader.
