Stormy Dawn Talley (mug shot SCSO)

Three people are facing drug charges after an alert citizen called authorities to report suspected drug activity in a cove near Kimberling City last month.

A Highway Patrol Trooper responded to an area just west of the Kimberling City bridge behind the Throttle Down Motel and found three people camping on a non camping portion of Army Corps of Engineer property.  A pontoon boat and jet ski were nearby, according to court documents.

The officer arrested Stormy Dawn Talley, 34, of Eagle Rock; Dan Lee Kendall, 50, of Kimberling City and Julie Mae Garrison, 21, of Mound Valley, Kansas, after he allegedly found methamphetamine, pot, and drug paraphernalia at the campsite and on the boat.

The officer noted in the probable cause statement that Talley and Garrison had track marks from needles on their arms and they were both very skinny.  He also noted that their skin was discolored in places.

Two syringes, a portable scale and small clear plastic bags were allegedly found in Talley's, who is currently on probation for a meth conviction, purse.

During the search a pill bottle allegedly containing a large crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine and a digital scale were found in a shaving kit along with Kendall's identification.

When the officer asked Garrison if she had any illegal drugs in her possession "she stated she had prescription medication she melted down" to shoot up in her purse.  Also found in Garrison's purse was a spoon with a purple substance on it, syringes and rolling papers, according to court records.

Several baggies containing a variety of pills, two large bags containing suspected methamphetamine, several bags of pot and a propane torch believed to be used to cook or heat methamphetamine were seized from the campsite.

Talley and Garrison, who are scheduled for court appearances this week, are being held in the Stone County jail on $50,000 bond each.

Kendall, quickly posted $50,000 bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned on October 15th.

Im wondering why Dan Kendall's mugshot is not also shown on this page? It's quite odd that only Talleys' and Garrisons' are shown especially when the bulk of evidence was found in a bag containing Kendalls' ID and even more evidence was found in a tent that belonged to him.
