Reeds Spring Man Charged With Domestic Assault:

A man from Reeds Spring was charged with domestic assault after allegedly throwing his girlfriend around "like a rag doll" and beating her up last month.

According to the probable cause statement, Stephen A. Bonneau, 35, got into a verbal argument with the woman and then allegedly punched her several time in the face.  The woman was able to get out of the apartment to call a friend who alerted authorities to the situation.

Deputy Travis Ross writes that the woman, who says she lost conciousness and can not remember the whole attack, had dried blood on her lip and inside her mouth and appeared to have a broken arm.

Bonneau is being held on a quarter million dollars bond.
