Breck Fleming Wakefield (mug shot SCSO)

Judge Alan Blankenship is expected to rule on a bond reduction motion for a man charged with multiple sex crimes of underage boys in the next few weeks.

In December, Stone County prosecutor Matt Selby charged Bruce Fleming Wakefield, 46, with ten counts of statutory sodomy and two counts of sexual misconduct.

According to the probable cause statement, Wakefield allegedly assaulted two underage boys who worked or volunteered at Predator World (formerly known as Reptile Gardens) from 2001 through 2008. The former employees told investigators that Wakefield had sexual contact with them at his business and at his his home in Branson West.

Court documents allege that Wakefield even molested one of the victims, who was confined to a wheelchair after a tiger attack at the business in 2008, while he was receiving treatment for his injuries in St. Louis. The alleged victim filed a lawsuit against Wakefield and the company following the tiger attackhat was settled out of court in 2011, with a “Supplemental Needs Trust” created for the victim.

The other victim, who is now twenty seven years-old, alleges that he was underage when he entered into a sexual relationship with Wakefield in 2001, and that the incidents occurred on an almost daily basis until 2007.

Wakefield is currently being held on $150,000 bond. If he is convicted of all the charges, he could receive up to forty eight years in prison.

Blankenship set Wakefield's preliminary hearing for March 19th at his court appearance last week.

In regards to your Wakefield post: I read your blog almost daily and love it. I'm not usually one to complain. but you practically released one of the victims names. Anyone locally who ever watched the news knows exactly who was involved in a tiger attack at Predator World. If it were me I would be offended but of course it isn't. I just feel that some more consideration should be given to the victim and his family.
