Authorities are searching for a man who was charged with burglary and stealing last year after he failed to appear in court.
Court records say Darren Eugene Murphy, 42, of Billings allegedly attempted to steal an ATM machine from Stone County National Bank in September of 2011 by tying a rope around it and pulling it with a truck. Murphy told law enforcer's that he loaned his truck to a friend at the time in question, but surveillance video allegedly showed him attaching the rope to the ATM.
Several weeks before that, Murphy allegedly broke into a cabin in Shell Knob, according to court documents.

Murphy turned himself in to the court today. He is scheduled to reappear in court on December 4th.
