A man from Cotter, Arkansas was arrested twice overnight, accused of drunk driving.
Authorities in Baxter County Sheriff say Brian E. Sandy, 30, was booked into the county jail about 2:15 a.m. Thursday (10-19-11.) Stacy was released about 3:00 a.m. after posting $2,010 bond and was released to the custody of Heath D. Christian, who signed a form taking responsibility for Sandy that stated he would not let Sandy drive.
About 24 minutes after bonding out of jail, the Gassville officer who originally arrested Sandy busted him again after he witnessed him getting behind the wheel of a vehicle and drive off.
Sandy was again booked into the Baxter County jail with an alleged blood alcohol content of -13% and released after posting $3,115 bond.
He's due in court November 3rd on the county charges and November 14th for Gassville charges.
Christian was cited for Permitting an Unauthorized Person to Drive.
