~UPDATED~DEVELOPING~Authorities In Osage Beach Investigating Weekend Homicide:

Authorities in Osage Beach are investigating the death Sunday (10-10-10) of 21-year-old Adrianna Hyten of Osage Beach as a homicide.

Hyten was found stabbed to death on the living room floor in her apartment at 1167 Mace Road by first responders who were called to the home by G.L.G., who also lives at the same address.

Sgt. Arlyne Page says G.L.G, 23, was arrested on a parole violation.  G.L.G pleaded guilty to attempted child molestation in August of 2008 for a crime in 2005.  G.L.G.  was taken into custody for possessing certain items that violated his probation and parole guidelines.

The Lake of the Ozarks Major Case Squad has been activated to assist Osage Beach Police in the investigation.  The Missouri Highway Patrol Forensic Evidence team has completed processing the crime scene.

Hyten's murder was the third homicide in the Lake of the Ozarks area in a week.  Sharon L. Dickson and William B. Vannote were found shot to death in the Sunrise Beach home on October 2nd.  No charges have been filed in that case.
