After fielding numerous complaints from residents about prostitution around Grant Beach Park authorities busted nine men for just that yesterday afternoon.
All nine men were arrested at the park on the city's north side within three hours after they allegedly solicited two undercover female cops.
The sting was paid for as part of a Community Development Block Grant that is being used to utilize additional police presence in the Grant Beach, Robberson and West Central neighborhoods.
A city spokesperson says it could be a week to ten days before the citations against the men make it to municipal court.
