Authorities in Rogers, Arkansas are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a local motel.
Police were called to the Ranch-O-Tel Motel at 11:33 a.m. yesterday (03-03-10) because the people staying in a room were behind in paying and a clerk could not contact them.
Public Information Officer for Rogers PD, Cpl. Angel Murphy-Pearce, says thirty year-old Nathanial Meyers (a.) answered the door when officers arrived and the body was found when they entered the room and when police entered the room they discovered the woman's dead body.
Meyers was arrested on misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court in an unrelated case.
Investigators aren't sure if they are investigating a murder, or if the woman died of natural causes. Her body has been sent to the state crime lab for positive identification and to determine the cause of death.
