It could take up to two weeks for preliminary autopsy results to come back on the eight-month-old Carthage baby that was the focus of a two day Amber Alert that was eventually found dead in the Spring River over the weekend.

Salazar gave cops the name of a suspect he said kidnapped baby Eddie, but that claim was sham. Salazar buckled under pressure and told authorities that he lied about bogus kidnapping and has charged with filing a false police report.
Jasper County prosecutor Dean Dankelson says that charges related to baby Eddie's death could come as early as tomorrow morning.
