An arrest has been made in the disappearance of two Bentonville, Arkansas women.

Nicolas James Johansen, 18, Garefied, AR, has been charged with hindering an apprehension or prosecution in connection with the disappearance of his mother, Christina Bishop-Johansen and his grandmother, Louise Bishop.

The women were last seen leaving Sam's Club on June 18th in Bentonville. Their car was found in the parking lot of Club Hots, a strip club in Jane, MO, with the message "Free car, just tow away," scrawled across the windshield.

A news release from the Bentonville Police Department says, "Johansen is the biological son of Christina Bishop, and his arrest was related to inconsistent statements he provided during the course of this investigation."

Authorities say that other details of the missing persons case and Johansen’s arrest will not be made available due to the active status of investigation.
