A man was stabbed multiple times this morning outside of the Kum-N-Go at Division and National.

Cops say that two men in an S-U-V got into an altercation with two men after their vehicle was blocked by a truck in the convenience store parking around 8 a.m.

Witnesses say that one of the men got out of the truck and stabbed one of the men in the S-U-V.

Both vehicles drove away from the scene following the stabbing. One of the men in the S-U-V flagged down officers at Central and Benton.

The injured man was transported to a Springfield hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

There is no word yet on how the men know each other. Cops say the are looking for two black men in a white Chevy extended cab pick-up truck in connection to the case.

Police are interviewing the injured mans friend and reviewing surveillance tape from the store at this time.
