The Missouri Highway Patrol has launched a death investigation into the death of an inmate from Wright County.
A news release says that the death of sixty year-old Loren Liles appears to be a suicide.
Liles was discovered hanging in his jail cell by a Wright County sheriff’s department employee about 8 :15 this morning. He was being held on charges of disorderly conduct out of Hartville.
An autopsy is being conducted at Southwest Missouri Forensics, inSpringfield, MO.
