A Jasper County man is behind bars tonight for a Joplin bank robbery.
Authorities in Joplin say that Phillip L. Dodd, 36, Carl Junction, turned himself in this afternoon and allegedly told cops that he was responsible for holding up Joplin Metro Credit Union last Friday (06-12-09.)
Dodd has been charged with first-degree robbery and is being held in Newton County on $50,000 bond.
