There will be an interview with Janis McCall and other family members of missing persons on KSPR (channel 33,) Sunday and Monday @ 10:00 p.m.(March 22 and and 23th.)

It will delve into the case of the three missing women and other missing people in the Ozarks.

For the family's of the missing it has to be heart wrenching......resources for help for the families of the missing in the initial stages of the cases are scarce.
-

We will continue to work this case until we find out what happened to Sherrill, Suzi and Stacy (l.) on June 7, 1992.

The families, and our community deserve to know what happened to them.

Hopefully the tip that we have been waiting for to solve the mystery will come soon.

If you have any information on the case you can call me and remain anonymous at 417-369-2616 or e-mail me at meyer_news@hotmail.com
or the SPD @ 417-864-1810.

Please watch it if you can.

Does anyone know about Brentt Streeter and if was questioned in this case?

I still think they should investigate the PFI area...I feel strongly that Randy Little could have something to do with this. He was involved in things that were crooked and i know him and Sherril were associated with one another.

I always heard they were buried under the PFI building in the foundation. It was common talk in Springfield that someone in a green van drove off with them and then they were placed into the foundation of a building.
I just saw the KY3 story of the parking garage, wish someone could fly over the above listed location and look at it as well. These families need closure. And the perp needs to be caught and litigated.

Hey I just watched the story about The Springfiled Three, on the ID channel, Its crazy how three people can disappear like that with out a trace and noone know nothing. My heart goes out to the families. have they ever dug up the parking lot?...why wouldnt they what would it hurt?

They have not dug up the floor in the parking garage. I think they should, I know it would cost a lot of money to do it, but I bet they could find people to donate the time and equipment to do it.

I just saw the story last night on ID. It is very hard to imagine that nay building under construction within a 100 mile radius was not looked into. I think they should start digging. My heart broke for these family members.

I have heard several times that the horses at pfi was put there to cover the three missing. has anyone looked into that and checked that area?

Just saw the story on ID: Disappeared-- is there a way you could start a petition where people could sign to urge the city to dig under that parking lot?? That seems like a really likely location!! I will sign and send it to everyone I know if you can start one. Let me know on your website-- God Bless--

I just saw the show on Comcast-I hope you find them-I would love to sign a petition to dig up the concrete in the parking garage. I am sure there are many people that would donate their time and skills to help

The Missing Three: I just watched this story on the ID channel and the fact that the police say that they are the doing everything and following every lead is a joke. If that was true that parking ramp would have already been dug up. If it were my family I would be doing everything I could including get someone to dig up that hospital parking garage. Seriously if they finally get their heads screwed on straight and dig it up and all three are there. Who will look like the fools then. These families deserve to have a service and bury their loved ones. I hope that the police department reads these bloggs maybe they will finally get off their cans and dig up the parking garage. No family should have to continue to read about all of this knowing that the police still haven't checked this area.

I lived in Springfield at the time that these 3 women went missing. And it is hard to believe they still have not found them or put their abductor in jail. This case needs to be resolved so the families can finally have some closure. It has to be pure torture not knowing the exact details of what happened to their loved ones. It's a horrible story and I had hoped by now it would be solved. I am glad to see a site dedicated to finding some real answers for the families. And wish you the best in your quest to give them some.

The Springfield Three-Why can't the police just drill a hole into the concrete and retrieve a soil sample from a center area of where the bodies are rumored to be. I understand not chasing every rumor but with the ground reading, this story seems to have substance and IF it could lead to an arrest and some small amount of closure for the families, wouldn't it be worth it? Did they ever find the van, or is it more likely that they were put underwater in the van?

The Missing Three
I just watched a show on these women and I am just sick that they have not dug. I was wondering if you have gone viral with a petition or facebook page to spread the word. Once one is made and if you can get attention from someone big and more people then maybe someone will listen. If you have already done this then please send me the social network pages or petition and I will pass it along. I can only hope to see the police and hospital to come together and do what is right. I will be praying for all involved and will continue to keep looking to see if or when you will finally at least be given the chance to see under that concrete.

This is so stupid, if you drill a 2" hole where the three graves are supposed to be in the concrete, you will either get bone, tissue or not....DUH.

The program was shown again at ID. Have they still not checked the garage? I agree to what someone said above, that it shouldnt be to hard to drill a small hole and take a sample to find out wether it is bodies or something else in the concrete.

I feel sorry for the friends and family and really hope the truth will be clear soon.

These days you don't need to dig first.
You can use ground penetrating radar to see if there is anomalies in the cement and then dig in only those places.
If anything that needs to be done!

I know quite a few Universities who have archeology departments have the GPR equipment and I imagine they wouldn't mind donating their time to help in a situation like this!!

I think the remaining family members are owed this much.

They don't need to rip out the garage floor. Just drill some small holes over the hot spots and get some samples. Then turn them over to the csi's for analysis and let the cadaver dogs take a sniff. Minimally intrusive and should have been done years ago.

PFI. Dig up the concrete. Rumors, many times, have a great deal of truth.

just seen this on id ... its tragic why cant they just dig up the carpark , what would it harm ???

Unfortunately the sad part to this theres money involved and possible drug ties have been rumored. more than likely these poor women are under either one of those bulidings Randy Little is a prominent business man with a lot of pull in the community even if he is a jerk. He has someone paid off to keep those holes from being drilled.

There is no doubt in my mind the people of this area would chip in and donate in anyway that they can to dig! We have company's and people willing to donate time and money to help! I honestly can't believe that after 21 years they wouldn't want to do it! Cox hospital makes enough money to pitch in as well! AND am I the only one that finds it odd that Cox is a suspect and Cox Hospital is rumored to be where they are? What a way to make sure no one forgets your name!

This case has always mystified me and for some reason it returned to my consciousness recently.
I re-watched a video on the case and after 5 minutes, my first thought was the estranged father got sentimental over Suzanne's graduation and showed up but was rebuffed. Yet there is no mention anywhere of the "Streeter" father or the whoever "Levitt" may be (a step-father I assume).
Were they ruled out?

I can't believe the hospital, police, someone there has not done anything to check these locations, seems sketchy, I say it should be done with or without permission, these are people we're talking about not objects.

Anonymous said...

I cannot believe they have not checked that parking garage, what the hell are they wating for, really????

MECo was called back about a year after PFI was constructed to do cement repairs in center walkway after board laminate warped towards rear center the cement was drilled and recapped.
a simple earth penetrating radar would show a void a few feet below the floor if police where interested.

Springfield Three: Is it standard procedure to check the area cemeteries for tampering?
This comes to mind after I saw a broadcast that noted a person close to the case was recently involved in cemetery defamation that by all accounts would have been well known and reported... so even considering suspects not directly in the circle of acquaintances such might have had this on their mind.
If a cemetery check was not done at the time, the task would be almost insurmountable now. An investigator would likely have to review contemporary burial and vandalism records for a reasonable time around the events.
I've seen interviews with criminals who suggested that cemetery 'dumps' were considered highly successful ways to hide remains.

I have a strange feeling that they need to question the recent Springfield, MO child murder suspect Craig Michael Wood concerning the disappearances of The Springfield 3....His house according to Yahoo Maps (where they just found his latest murder victim), is only a few blocks due south of the address where the 3 were last located (though many years apart).

A possible serial murderer that has been loose in society for a very long time perchance? BTK comes to mind w/ this particular guy.

After a quick search of Missing & Exploited in Springfield, MO I found this case and then ran maps on both...only a few blocks away from 1 another.

Strange coincidence is all I can say.

My heart goes out to the ladies' families. In addition to ground-penetrating radar, cadaver dogs can detect human decomposition from around 6 feet under concrete, so I'm wondering if they've ever been used & what the results were ? Also, as in the Lacey Peterson case, tracking cadaver dog was placed in a car & detected her decomposed body from Modesto along a freeway north to the San Francisco Bay Marina, where ultimately she & her baby Conner were discovered washed up along a nearby shores. It'd seem like using a K9 to track from the house at least (even if they hadn't died there) along roads to see where it might lead would be reasonable & relatively inexpensive. This case needs solving !!!!! In our lifetime!!!!!!!
