The preliminary hearing for Timothy Norton, who is charged with first-degree murder, abandonment of a corpse, and kidnapping in the disappearance of Cassidy Rainwater-Paul, will be held on February 2, 2022, in Dallas County.
Norton’s attorney, Branden Twibell, passed on his bond motion which will now be taken up that day as well. He entered a not guilty plea to the amended murder charges for his client today.
Dallas County Prosecutor Jonathan Barker said last week that Norton, and his co-defendant James Phelps, would troll for potential victims online and at the local Walmart.
