Cassville, Mo.- A teenager from Marionville who was charged with forcibly raping a girl at a part last year in Lawrence County has been found not guilty.
Lawrence County Prosecutor Don Trotter said Hunter Kuoppamaki, who is now 17 , gave the girl alcohol and then raped her at a party in his hometown last April.
The girl told investigators that Kuoppamaki and another boy, Dillon Scott Carpenter,  forcibly restrained her, removed her clothing and sexually assaulted her at 24935 Lawrence County Road 2210.   The girl says after she was raped the boys took her underwear as a trophy. Two witnesses told investigators that Carpenter “was in possession of the victim’s underwear after the rape occurred.”
After a day-and-a-half bench trial in Barry County, where the case was moved on a change of venue, Judge Charles Curless found Kuoppomaki not guilty.

Judge Finds Marionville Teen Charged With Forcible Rape, Sexual Assault Not Guilty:

A fact that came out at the trial that I felt should be said considering all the accusations that were made against Hunter.
First of all Hunter did not supply the alcohol at the party. It was said at trial that they went by the (so called victim) girls aunts house, where the girl went in and retrieved the alcohol. All of these kids made some very bad decisions that night. But if there was really a victim it would have been Hunter. Considering he was only 15 at the time all of this happened. The 17 year old "girl" provided the 15 year old booze. But for some reason these facts seem to be overlooked. As for the other boy pleading guilty. He done so because he had got in some other trouble and was in jail and they were not going to let him out until trial, which wasn't scheduled until later next year. He plead out so he could get out of jail, not because of guilt. I hope these kids learn to think before they act. Hunter Kuoppamaki is a good kid. I do wonder why this 17 year old was not charged with statutory rape or why the aunt hasn't been charged with giving these kids alcohol..???

This is a very sad case. But I agree above why is the aunt (Joey) not being charged with supply alcohol? It is very well known that she even has done meth with several young underage kids.
