A former police officer from Kansas died after falling from a cliff off Aunts Creek road near Kimberling City last Friday (05-23-14.)
Authorities say 36 year-old Shane Little, of Wichita, lost his footing while walking up a trail near Oswalt Bluff and plunged 30 to 40 feet about 3:30 p.m.
Little had been a member of the Wichita Police Department's SWAT team until 2011 when he contracted bacterial meningitis and lost most of his vision.
