A man from Sparta was recently charged with three counts of unlawful use of a weapon connected to an incident in late October.
Authorities say William Roy Wilson, 31, and his fiancee allegedly entered the home of a woman in Blue Eye without permission. Once inside the home, Wilson "tried to buy prescription medications" from the woman. When told she didn't have any, Wilson and his fiancee went back to his vehicle, but Wilson returned with a gun, according to court records.
When the woman attempted to run to a nearby neighbor's house for help, Wilson grabbed her by the arm and led her back to her residence. As they were entering the kitchen, Wilson shot through the door. A woman who was standing on the other side of the door was not injured. Wilson fired a second shot through the living room window as he left the house, according to the probable cause statement.
He is being held on $50,000 bond and is due back in court on December 18th.
