A man from Galena if facing charges after allegedly threatening to kill two people who say he assaulted them.
Authorities say Kyle Levi Filbeck, 20, was a passenger in a moving truck when he assaulted another passenger and the driver on November 25th. Court records say Filbeck then attempted to run over the men and operated the vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner in McCord Bend Estates.
When authorities went to Filbeck's home to question him about the alleged incident, he resisted arrest, according to the probable cause statement.
In June, Filbeck was placed on four years probation after he pleaded to charges of tampering with a motor vehicle and possession of burglary tools in Barry County.
He also has another assualt case pending in Stone County connected to an alleged unrelated assault from December of 2011.
Filbeck, who is being held in the Stone County jail on $20,000 bond, is due back in court in January.
