Two weeks ago we told readers about a man who was wanted by authorities in Stone County after he failed to appear in court on burglary and stealing charges.
On November 13th, Darren Eugene Murphy, 42, of Billings, turned himself in to Judge Alan Blankenship. Murphy, allegedly attempted to steal an ATM machine from Stone County National Bank in September of 2011 by tying a rope around it and pulling it with a truck.
Several weeks before that, Murphy allegedly broke into a cabin in Shell Knob, according to court documents.
He is due back in court on December 4th.
