The case of a woman charged with second-degree murder was officially moved from Stone County to Jasper County last week on a change of venue.

Teri Dean-Morrison is also facing three counts of tampering with evidence, armed criminal action and hindering prosecution connected to the February murder of Carl Anderson that allegedly took place at Dean-Morrison home near Hootentown.

Carl Anderson

Anderson went missing in February and his dismembered remains were found on property belonging to a former boyfriend of Dean-Morrison's in March.

Cheryl Crawford and Eugene Crider are also charged in Anderson's murder.

Crawford's attorney has also made a motion for a change of venue.  She is due back in court for a status hearing in February.

It is expected that Crider's attorney will make a similar motion when he appears in court on November 14th.

Another woman, Krystal Buras, of Spring, Texas was charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly removing items from Crider's truck that authorities believe were used in the alleged crime.

She is due back in court on November 14th.
