A man from Stone County was sentenced to ten years in prison after he pleaded guilty on July 2nd to several sex charges involving children.
Andrew Scott Long, 50, who has a Branson address but lives in Stone County, told investigator's that he was "a pedophile who could not be cured" when they served a search warrant at his home in November of last year. Officers found several computer generated images of underage kids involved in sex acts on Long's custom built computer.
He told detectives he manufactured the images to "fulfill his sexual desires of minor female children who are 10 - 13 years-old," according to court documents.
Long, who was already on the sex offender list and has a prior conviction of child molestation from another state, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexual exploitation of a minor and two five year sentences for possession of child pornography.

Those sentences will be served concurrent (at the same time) to each other.
