Two men who were allegedly transporting about 65 pounds of pot were arrested yesterday (11-4-11) following a traffic stop on I-44.
Troopers stopped the tractor trailer for failing to display proper identification about 7:30 near Route 125 in Greene County. Sgt. Jason Pace says a dog alerted authorities to two boxes of marijuana hidden inside the big rig.

Alberto Cardenas Gortari, 25, and passenger, Rafael Antonio Canas, 43, of Phoenix, Arizona, have been charged with drug trafficking and are being held on $25,000 bond in the Greene County jail.
