A twenty five year-old man from Mountain Home, AR was busted after postal inspectors tipped off the Mountain Home police department that a large shipment of pot was on its way to the home of Gilbert Jesse, Jr.
Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says a package containing approximately fourteen pounds of marijuana was delivered by a postal agent. That shipment was seized at Jesse's residence just after the delivery along with additional marijuana and some Ecstasy that was found in the house.
Chief Manuel said Gilbert Jesse Jr. has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. He is being held on $50,000 bond.
Arkansas State Police assisted Mountain Home Police and Postal Service agents in the sting.
