The probable cause statement indicates that there was an ongoing feud between Neal and Tyrone Keith, 23, over Linsey Sickler, who is the mother of Keith's children and the current girlfriend of Neal, as well as an assault of Neal's brother, Antwone, that led to several shots being fired from a van (which belongs to Sickler) in the Mid-Town park about 6 p.m., where just hours earlier residents and children had taken part in a 4th of July celebration in and around the park.
Cops say that one of those bullets hit Keith in the back of the neck near his head and that the wound is not life-threatening.
Online court records show that Neal pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an accident in October 2008, and placed on five years probation-----he was charged with driving without a license and having no insurance last September. That case has not been disposed yet.
