A 22 year-old man is clinging to life in a Springfield hospital after a bizarre accident early this morning.First responders were called to the Doubletree Hotel after the man hanging over the sixth floor balcony fell.
The man had been attending a wedding reception and was allegedly intoxicated and alone when he jumped over the balcony and attempted shimmy his way down the walls to the atrium about 3:45 this morning.
Witnesses say the man was yelling rough housing on the balcony before he fell.
