**UPDATE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF STORY

A man who is alleged to have fathered four children with his nineteen year-old daughter whom he allegedly incestuously impregnated has been charged with murdering one of them.

Investigators found the remains of two infants in coolers on a farm where the family once lived.

Only one child of the alleged incest, a three year-old boy, is still alive according to investigators. He has been placed in the custody of the state.

Danial Rinehart (above) 47, is charged with second-degree murder, endangering the welfare of a child, statutory rape, two counts of incest and two counts of abandoning a corpse.

Cass County prosecutor Teresa Hensley said one of Rinehart’s daughters called police from a Harrisonville Wal-Mart on Oct. 3, 2008, and reported that her father was having an ongoing sexual affair with her 19 year-old sister that had produced four children.

Detectives went and searched the property at 24200 South Taylor Road on Oct. 15, 2008, with the assistance of Kansas City police and cadaver dogs, but didn't find any human remains.

The first child, according to interviews conducted with the teenage mother, was born and died in Oklahoma in 2004.

According to the mother, the baby was born on March 24, 2004 and died July 8, 2004. She said her father assisted her with the birth.

According to Sheriff Dwight Diehl, authorities believe that the child born in Oklahoma is buried on an Indian reservation.

Oklahoma authorities are assisting in the investigation, he said.

Two of the other children have died.

According to court documents, Rinehart’s daughter told police that her father had gotten her pregnant with a all four children. Rinehart told authorities that he believes he only fathered two of his daughters children.

According to the probable cause statement, all four children were delivered at home or in a truck by Danial and Linda Rinehart.

On New Years Day 2009, the new residents of the property at Taylor Road in Harrisonville reported finding two coolers — a large blue cooler, and a smaller maroon one with what appeared to be babies inside of them behind a RV inside a garage.

Linda Rinehart, (below) Danial Rinehart’s wife, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child for not reporting the alleged sexual abuse of her daughter. The Rinehart's have three other daughters.

When asked by investigators why she continued to remain married to her husband even though she knew what was happening, Linda Rinehart became upset and said she wasn’t good enough to find somebody else.

Rineharts mother, Delores, lived on the same property as her son and his family and says she had no idea what was going on.

Sisters of the 19 year-old woman said that their father told them he would kill them if they told anyone what was going on.

Linda Rinehart is free on $10,000 bond after being charged on Jan. 8.

Danial Rinehart is being held on a cash only bond of half-a-million dollars.

Danial and Linda Rinehart are scheduled to appear in court again on January 29, 2009.

UPDATE: Linda Rinehart waived her court appearance today (02-05-09). The preliminary hearings for Danial and Linda Rinehart are scheduled for March 5, 2009.

The oldest daughter of the Rineharts wants to see prosecutors charge her mother with more crimes. The woman says she wants her mother to pay just as much as her father.

Cass County prosecutors say that additional charges a are a possibility, but declined to say what they could be, or when the could possibly be handed down.

Cameras, both still and television, have been denied access to the courtroom for the hearing.

UPDATE 2-23-09:
