Cops found out that Lee Murdock was conducting the illegal activity when they started investigating allegations that his son had allegedly molested at least three children, one of which was his two year-old brother, last April.
Just two months ago prosecutors in Webster County, MO, filed charges of endangering the welfare of a child, furnishing pornography to a child and possession of child pornography against Murdock and his wife, Catherine A. Carson (b.), 31.
In interviews, the boy described smoking marijuana and watching child and adult pornography with his parents. According to cops the teen led deputies to his parents porn stash.
In the probable cause statement the boys parents admitted watching child and adult porn with their son, and fondling each other while he was in the room.
The boy, who is now thirteen, told cops that the child porn included "foreign naked girls."
He also told cops that his mother sometimes made him look at her naked, or when she got out of the shower.
The prosecutor said she was having problems getting the child endangerment charges to stick in the Murdock case and predicts that she will encounter the same problems in Carson's case, which has not been disposed.
Authorities had a tough time locating Murdock and Carson to arrest them. Cops finally caught up with Carson at her place of employment.
Murdock had told cops he would turn himself in but after several days of not showing he was arrested by troopers with the Pennsylvania Highway Patrol when they stopped his semi-truck.
