Authorities in Arkansas have filed first-degree murder and tampering with evidence charges against an Oak Grove teenager for allegedly murdering his friend.
On July 9th, around 8:37 p.m., dispatchers with the Carroll County Sheriff's office received a call about a person lying in the road in northern Oak Grove. When law enforcers and emergency personnel arrived, they found 19-year-old Alexzander Bernhardt near death.
An underage girl, who had her mother's 2016 KIA Soul, and a group of friends were in the vehicle when Alexzander was shot in the forehead. The girl and Zander Slay were found at one of her relatives' homes by using the Life 360 app. Arkansas State troopers transported the girl and Slay to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, where they were interviewed. The underage girl's mother was transported by a private vehicle, where she joined her daughter for the interview.
During the initial interview, the minor and Slay told detectives that they were in the vehicle with Bernhardt and Thomas Blewett, 18, but they did not disclose that Blewett was "holding the firearm at the time of Bernhardt's death." About thirty minutes after leaving the interview, the girl and Slay returned to the sheriff's office, where they gave a second voluntary statement.

It was during this statement that law enforcement learned that the girl was driving and Slay was in the front passenger seat, Bernhardt was behind the driver, and Blewett was in the back passenger seat. Slay told detectives that he " heard a gunshot, turned to the backseat and witnessed Thomas Blewett holding a tan pistol in his right hand." The underage girl told investigators that she "turned to look and discovered Bernhardt bleeding from a head wound and Blewett holding a tan pistol." The girl said that Slay demanded to be let out of the car after Bernhardt had been shot. The underage girl continued to drive, eventually stopping on CR 435, where Blewett eventually dumped Alexzander Bernhardt still alive, but gravely injured.
Both witnesses told investigators that Blewett stated, "I'm gonna go to prison for life" immediately after the shooting.
A relative of Thomas Blewett's, who is a dispatcher but was off duty, pulled up a "call card" on her phone and alerted Thomas' father, Tommy Blewett, who is a Green Forest police officer. Tommy Blewett was on duty but got clocked out by a colleague after being alerted to the search for his son. Tommy Blewett alerted investigators to the KIA, which had a large amount of blood found in the back seat. The KIA was found in a wooded area about a mile and a half from his grandparents' house. Thomas Blewett was located at his grandparents' home, where his father allegedly told his son to shut up, and they would be getting an attorney.
Thomas Blewett is being held on a one-million-dollar bond. His next scheduled court appearance is August 4, 2025.

Thats not totally how it went she was demanded to drive and he pointed gun at her then demand she stop wth gun on her soon as she got to a piblic area wth civilians around she stop exited and was getting sick and he then took car and she dialed 911 and reported someone laying in the road
She just seen her lifelong friend shot and kid wth gun demanding her to drive then wth weapon demanded her to stop and he pushed kid shot out of vehicle then drove to civilians was and exited vehicle and he took vehicle and she dialed 911and reported body in the rode and her vehicle stolen

So if he story is different that the police report maybe you should let the public know that. Why not demand the fix the report bc there is nothing in their report about him holding a gun on her
