The preliminary hearing for a woman from Galena charged with four counts of distribution of drugs near public housing has been set for March 26th.
According to court documents, C.O.M.E.T. officers bought morphine and Xanax from Barbara Brenda Pike, 50, on a Wal-Mart parking lot in Branson West and a public housing complex in Crane on several different occasions last fall.
During one of the controlled buys, Pike brokered a drug deal for another man with the officer for methamphetamine.
Pike, who is also facing two additional charges of distribution and or delivery of a controlled substance, is being held in the Stone County jail on $150,000 bond.
