Guilty Plea In Statutory Rape Case:

A Springfield man will spend five years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of statutory rape.

Authorities in Stone County were contacted by Webster County authorities who told them that a thirteen year-old girl told them she had sex with Donald Potter, 26, at the Ozark Mountain Resort in Stone County in June of 2011.

Potter pleaded guilty to similar charges in Webster county and was sentenced to five  years behind bars; he also pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography charges in Greene County and was sentenced to four years in prison.  Those sentences will run concurrent (at the same time) to each other.
