A man from Branson who lost his cell phone has been charged with manufacturing a controlled substance after the person who found the phone turned it over to authorities in Stone County.
Sheriff Richard Hill says the person who found the phone on July 11th found more than just contact information when he turned the phone on. He discovered pictures of what he believed was marijuana with time stamps on the photo's being less than two weeks old, according to Hill.
Detectives obtained a search warrant so they could view the contents of the phone and identified the owner as 29 year-old Bryan William Achor.
After viewing pictures of an alleged grow operation that appeared to be inside Achor's residence at 31 Compton Ridge Road, which is in Stone County, authorities applied for a search warrant for the man's home.
During a search of the property marijuana was found growing in an aquarium. Marijuana cigarettes, a pipe, rolling papers, loose marijuana, marijuana seeds and a twelve gauge shotgun were seized in the raid, according to court documents.
Achor is being held in the Stone County jail on $25,000 bond.
