A man who allegedly shot another man in Washington park Saturday evening has been charged with three felonies in connection with the crime.

Prosecutors have charged Anthony Rico Neal, 21, with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and discharging or shooting a firearm at or from a vehicle at a person.
The probable cause statement indicates that there was an ongoing feud between Neal and Tyrone Keith, 23, over Linsey Sickler, who is the mother of Keith's children and the current girlfriend of Neal, as well as an assault of Neal's brother, Antwone, that led to several shots being fired from a van (which belongs to Sickler) in the Mid-Town park about 6 p.m., where just hours earlier residents and children had taken part in a 4th of July celebration in and around the park.

Cops say that one of those bullets hit Keith in the back of the neck near his head and that the wound is not life-threatening.

Online court records show that Neal pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an accident in October 2008, and placed on five years probation-----he was charged with driving without a license and having no insurance last September. That case has not been disposed yet.
Neal is being held in the Greene County jail on $200,000 bond and is due back in court on July 17th.
