About 150 people attended the 3rd annual chili cook-off and desert auction in Crane on Saturday (01-25-14.)
The $1391 that was raised will benefit the city Skate Park that was established with a $5,000 grant from skateboard champion Tony Hawk. ARC Ramp Company matched the $5,000, according to community activist Kathy Davidson.

"It's the best turnout we've ever had," said Davidson.
Plans are currently underway for a free community Easter dinner to be held on April 19th. Food donations to help with the dinner will be accepted by Davidson once plans are firmed up.
