Dallas County prosecutor says Phelps and Norton would troll the internet and local Walmart for potential victims:

James Phelps' next court appearance is scheduled for December 17th in Dallas County.

Dallas County prosecutor Jonathan Barker said Phelps, and his co-defendant Timothy Norton, who are both facing first-degree murder, abandonment of a corpse, and kidnapping charges in connection to Cassidy Rainwater-Paul’s disappearance would troll for “victims” online and at the local Walmart. Phelps told potential victims how he would harm them or kill them, Barker told the court during Phelps' appearance today.

Dallas County Sheriff Scott Rice says the cyber tip that led to the men's arrests bounced off a tower in Germany. He also said law enforcers are looking for a light-colored car, similar to a Grand Prix, with no license plates that was seen in the area of the cabin where Phelps was living at 386 Moon Valley Road when it went up in flames on October 4th. The fire has been ruled arson by the state fire marshal.

Judge Porter denied Phelps’ request for bond and set his new appearance date for December 17th.
Norton is scheduled to appear in court next Tuesday (11-23.). Norton’s attorney, Branden Twibell, says he will ask for a new preliminary hearing date then.
