Springfield Teen Facing Statutory Rape Charges In Stone County:

Galena, Mo- A 17 year-old from Springfield who was charged with statutory rape last September was taken into custody on those charges this week. -
Court documents say that Estevan Diego Garcia allegedly had sex with a 13 year-old girl while the young woman’s mother was at work. A witness discovered Garcia hiding in the girl’s closet in his shirt and underwear.
Garcia is being held in the Stone County jail on a $25,000 cash only bond.
