A Branson man charged with statutory rape was bound over for trial after waiving his preliminary hearing.
Authorities say Jacob Clayton Laughter, 22, had sexual intercourse with a thirteen year-old the girl at the Eagle's Nest Resort in April of 2011 when he was 21 years-old, according to court documents.
Laughter, who remains jailed on $50,000 bond, will be formally arraigned in circuit court on Jauary 7th.
